In my practice it is one of the most important ingredient....
It is also a scientific concept, we live our lives by clocks, day after night, night after day, continuously, never ending, untill we depart....
In one of my previous works called The places where I live, I became interested in the 'magical' possibility of being in two places at the same time.....It had two 'windows'; one looking out at a lanscape in Cluj, Romania; the other, looking out at a lanscape in London, England.....
Projected at the same time, the sound of the wind connecting them....
This year I would like to continue exploring this concept. I would like to bring together through filmed images two places: Whitby, England and Poienari, Romania under the working title The castle of a thousand steps ....These are places where Vlad, a Romanian prince, was meant to of lived.....bluring the boundaries of reality and fiction.....
Within Visionforum I would like to propose to somehow connect the different events that will take place...i.e that we organise a few of them to take place at the same time, and link them through live podcasts (technology permitting)
I would quite like to organise an event in Cluj, or Berlin or London, with members of Visionforum who would like to participate, and have an open, temporal link with other Visionforum artists that are in a different part of the world.....
